This is a good app. It is so easy to use it. BUT it dont export songs of the cards to iPhone/iPod Touch app. Please, add this feature.

I only just started using it, so I really dont know a whole lot yet. The biggest feature that Im surprised isnt here is the ability to create bullets. If you have more than one comment per card you cant create new lines. Unless theres something Im not catching, but I dont think so.
iFlash is great unless you want to use the picture feature for a full deck, in which case it will just crash and send you into an infinite loop of attempting to open the program and then it failing and having to "send a report" of the issue. Waste of money as far as I am concerned as the main thing that I wanted it for was to memorize diagrams. Really disappointed.
This is an awesome app and i use it to study for everything! Just one request: would it be possible to make it so that if you press shift-tab, it will go back up to the previous line instead of the search box? Other than that - thanks a lot!
missing such simple but important features….like being able to delete a deck…or being able to organize them. waste of money
Its great for studying, but is lacking some features. It would be nice if dual-side printers were supported, as well as print preview. I would also like it more if when I export to a text file it created a .docx file rather than .txt file and be able to import a .docx file.
It is real good application. Thank you. What I really need in this programm is to have apportunaty to type the answer by keyboard (backside of flashcard) in the study mode. If you write it correctly then the card should go to "Learnt", if not the card remains in "Study" mode. It is implemented in Abbye Lingvo Dictionary Tutor for windows and it is really convenient. Hope someday you will do it. Anton.
Not sure if this an issue with the new apple update, but the app is crashing all the time and it’s quite frustrating… hopefully they will get a bug fix soon.
This app is great on the iMac, but does not transfer images to devices. A bit useless unless you have a laptop. Please make images transfer to make this app complete. then i will give it the 5 stars it deserves.
Images don’t transfer from macbook to IPAD, making this completely useless. It can’t be that hard to fix this...
Ive been using this application for years to memorize vocalulary words for spanish. The quick memorization mode is really usefull for when you have a test the next day and need to know the words now. I would imagen that the other modes are good for long term knowledge, although I have never tried them myself.
Im giving 4 stars because it doesnt seem to have any auto save feature. I accidentally clicked dont save after I finished typing up my AP Biology terms and the definitions didnt save. I was lucky I printed them out earlier (the print feature is wonderful!). If you, the developer, could incorperate an auto save feature that would be wonderful. Another feature on my wish list would be iCloud syncing. That would be great for going between my laptop, desktop, and iPad.
This is a great app. The only problem so far with it is that it doesnt correct your spelling for what i know. MUST GET APP FOR STUDYING!
I agree with a previous review that there needs to be a way to view images in the iFlash touch version. It would be very useful when studying for histology if I could use my phone to view all of hte slides. I was dissappointed that it didnt allow me to. I also think that the text should be able to adjust in order to fit within the screen of a note card. That being said this has been a great app to use on my computer and I am starting to use the iFlash touch companion. I would pay $9.99 or less for it if I had the chance to do it again.
Its a very nice and useful app. The only complaint I have is I wish that the software could take advantage of my printers ability to print both sides instead of having to feed the paper in again to the opposite side this is both tedious and time consuming.
This is a great app. Good to study and awesome cuz I dont have to waste paper. 2 objections though. In my honest opinion it is not worth 15 dollars. And i would like if it would be compatible with quiz let
Best app I have on my computer for school, one thing I would like to see added is the ability to edit the text, bold, font size and color options would make this app perfect so you can focus in on key words or phrases while youre trying to study; otherwise a great app overall, would recommend to anyone in school.
Needs improvements simple things like full screen, more compatibility, ability to add pictures to name a few.
This will be a mostly negative review, so let me cover some of the good things about this app first: the scoring system is pretty cool. The app will stop showing you certain cards when you get a high score on that card. Card score is increased by checking the "Known" checkbox on a card. You can set the app to decrease your score after a certain amount of time (I set mine for 2 weeks), so that the cards that were "known" will reappear later on to make sure you still remember them. In addition, I like that you can attach images or audio clips to note cards. If you plan to only use this app on your mac, it will probably serve you decently, especially if you dont need to use it for science classes. But it is like most other flashcard apps in that it has no support for sub or superscript, which makes chemistry, algebra (or any science notes) a bit of a chore to create. ax^2 +bx +c isnt a very attractive way to represent the quadratic equation, but thats all you can do with the text editor in this program. It gets even worse when you try to enter in things like the quadratic formula: x=(-b ± √(b^2 -4ac)/2a You can get around this problem though by putting a picture of the quadratic formula into the flash card (if you use wolframalpha.com, you can drag and drop the formula from there, since it outputs all of its equations as pictures). At least until you try to view the flash card on the iOS app, where (bewilderingly) attached images do not work. But back to the text editor: its too small. Its like entering everything into a tiny web form, unless you use the "Inspector" feature, which gives you a little bit more space to type in, but even then, its still too small because it blows the text size up. There is one more iOS related grievance I want to mention before moving on: the Mac to iOS syncing. Instead of using iCloud etc, this app uses a manual syncing option that requires the iOS device be on the same wifi network, and that it have the iOS iFlash app open. For some reason, the syncing does not work over my schools campus wide wifi. Its lucky that I live off campus and have wifi at my house, otherwise I would have never been able to sync my card decks. Ive also noticed that over the past week, the app crashes at least once a day. It looks like the crashes have something to do with sleep mode (15" rMBP with OSX 10.8.2). This, combined with the barebones iOS app, spotty syncing, seemingly infrequent updates (the iOS version looks like it hasnt been updated in well over a year) and limited input options make this app appear a bit amateur. I know app development is tough work, especially for solo/small teams, so I hate to leave negative reviews like this, but that doesnt make my concerns any less valid or important. Definitely use this apps trial version (available on the developers website: loopware.com) before you buy, and make sure it will work for you.
I wish I had purchased this app prior to my final exam. I found creating flash cards to be quite easy and intuitive. The ability to sync to my iphone is very handy. It looks like theres also a lot of useful functionality that I havent used yet, but look forward to trying out. If youre trying to learn something by memorization, I highly recommend this app and the accompanying iOS app.
